PROTRAK Digital GPS is a digital vehicle tracking system that uses Global Positioning Satellites (GPS). The GPS satellite signals are continuously broadcast from an orbit of 20,000 miles and PROTRAK Digital GPS receives those signals to calculate its location. The longitude, latitude, Unit ID and other GPS information is transmitted via a CDMA or GSM cellular modem to your computer or control center for display on a regional map.
