What is Trimtrac Pro?

Trimtrac Pro is GPS equipment maker Trimble's newest real time tracking device. It replaces all current Trimtrac models. It provides much needed improvements over all Trimtrac models in GPS performance, reliability and functionalities. Where to place Trimtrac Pro?

1. Temporary use on the dashboard or rear window package shelf; provided, however, that it is securely fasten down and protected from direct sunlight.

4. Unless the optional external GPS antenna is used, it is not recommended that the TrimTrac Pro be placed in the trunk or boot of the vehicle.
5. Mounting underneath a vehicle may or may not give you any location report depending on the structure of the vehicle.

What is the tracking cost after 200/GPRS tracking messages are all used up?

Trimtrac uses text message to communicate its location to a web server. The only cost for Trimtrac to perform real-time tracking is the cost of SIM card communication that is paid to the web service provider. All SIM card plans count tracking messages that are used:

• For Trimtrac to send locations out when moving;
• For Trimtrac to reply to configuration request from the server;
• For user to request locations from Trimtrac;
• For Trimtrac to reply user's inquiry; and
• For Server to send out locations to a cell phone

SIM Card terms for buyer: By bidding on the package involving SIM card, you acknowledge that the owner of the SIM remains to be the seller. What you bought is only the SIM card service to be worked together with tracking device only. We reserves the right to disconnect your SIM if the SIM card is found to be used for non-tracking purpose for the device or phone that is not authorized to use with the SIM card. A Locked Trimtrac: 

• An Application Service Provider (ASP) will use Trimtrac provisional module to set unit ID and the password that are undisclosed to user. The Trimtrac is considered locked under this condition.
• The locked Trimtrac can't be used when switching ASP or re-sold.
• An locked Trimtrac may have other application parameters that are not desired by the user. This parameters can't be changed unless the Trimtrac is unlocked meaning the Unit ID and the Password of the Trimtrac Unit is made known.
